F The Hours

One account, every team you work with

A freelancer joins the teams they work for and keeps their own log. A team lead sees the hours, the income and the project burn as they happen. Coming soon: it is in a private pilot with one business before it opens to everyone.

For the freelancer

Most team tools assume you belong to one company. Freelancers do not, so the account belongs to the person, and teams attach to it.

Your account stays yours
You sign up once. A team invites you by email; you accept, and it appears under My teams. Leave a team and its data stays with the team, and you can keep a personal copy of the entries you logged there.
Several teams at the same time
An agency on Mondays, a studio on Thursdays, your own clients in between. Each team is listed with its tasks, clients and projects. Your own clients never show to a team.
Your own log is untouched
Time logged for a team goes to that team. Your own log, your invoices and your tax estimate are separate, and no team sees them.
The rate is set once
The team lead sets your rate for their team, so every hour you log there already carries its value. Your own rate for your own clients is a different number, and it is yours.

For the team

A small business with freelancers on its books sees the work as it is logged, priced at the rate it agreed, against the budget it set.

Invite a member by email, choose the seat, set the rate you pay them. Membership and seats sit on the Business page.

Where it is

In a private pilot with one business, being used and changed every week. It opens to everyone when the pilot is done, and the roadmap lists what is coming.

The freelancer side of F The Hours is in the beta now and free while the beta is open. Join it, and your account is the one your teams will attach to.

When billing starts, teams are on the Business plan: two seats included, more added per seat. The figures are on the pricing page.
